After working in the retail business for 15 years (among which 9 years as a retail manager), I worked in the financial sector for 24 months, specializing in clients' investment portfolios and life insurance policies as a representative for Sun Life Financial of Canada.

My natural curiosity is always pushing me to learn more about a variety of subjects and explains why I passed the Certificate of Professional Competence (transport manager exam) for the freight industry in 2014, giving me in-depth knowledge of the transport industry rules and regulations, health and safety at work, working hours regulations, lorry maintenance and loading and European standards in relation to  this particular industry.

I settled as a freelance translator shortly after passing my MA in Technical Translation with Merit at the University of Westminster in London in 2010 and am currently working for various agencies including ITC Global Translations, Language Connect International Ltd and Traductions Serge Bélair.

In addition to my freelancing work, I worked from 2012 to 2013 as a pro-bono translator for the non-profitable organization Diversité Artistique Montréal which promotes cultural diversity, translating its website, AGM's minutes, newsletters and various press releases and have been translating current affairs articles for the French website Rinoceros since 2010.
